Used this to power a 7" screen GPS. Stand alone the unit's battery lasts less than 1 hour. With this device it ran for over 5 hours.

I bought this to use with my HTC Desire. It charges the Desire as though it was connected to the mains (and not USB) meaning it delivers a 750-1000mA current and charges quickly. I've managed to get 2 full charges of the Desire from flat with enough juice left over for a top up. I've not had cause to use the dual USB connectors but they are a handy addition. One of the cheapest portable chargers I've found and seems to work well.
I've recommended it to another Desire owner who is delighted with it (unlike the battery life of the Desire!)

This is a lifesaving device for anyone with a power hungry smartphone. Although it charges your device quite quickly, it takes a very long time to be recharged itself. I give it a full day charging from a mains connected laptop. The only thing that is slightly misleading/disappointing (and for which it loses one star) is that unlike one of the pictures at the top of the page you only get one cable, so I've never used the dual port feature.

Does what it says on the box. Only gripe is the charge state indicators don't work correctly. There should be 3 bars lit a few when fully charged and I've never had those 3 bars yet. But it still charges my iPod at least 3 times so I don't think that affects the charge life. Also can charge my wife's blackberry and my samsung galaxy too. There are other attachments for all the common phones. It's a little gem when I go walking for a few days days at a time.

Bought this device as we were set to go on holiday with a pretty long flight ahead of us, what with two children to keep occupied and DS consoles only lasting a few hour along with my ipod lasting even less needed a plan, Saw this device on Amazon, it had good reviews and with an attractive price thought i would try it out. WOW one of the best little gadgets i have ever bought, from fully charged ( plan ahead as it takes around 10hrs to fully charge) it charged 2 x DS lights, my android mobile, my wifes blackberry, and my i touch several times and it still had some charge left, thats impressive from such a compact device which is no larger than an iphone, needless to say we had a pleasant flight. Since the holiday my wife continually uses this device as i keep it charged and she always forgets to charge her phone so uses it to charge the phone on the way to work in her hand bag. This is a must have gadget:))

This is one of the most useful products I've ever bought. I have a Motorola Milestone 2 (Motorola Milestone 2 Sim-Free Mobile Phone), fantastic phone but with heavy use I can't get a day out of the battery. I use Bluetooth headphones Arctic Sound P311 Bluetooth Headset, so that drains the battery even faster.
Since I bought this all my troubles are over. I just charge the phone while it's in my bag, I get two full charges out of it and it's faster than mains charging! I can even continue to use the phone if I want. I can also use it with my iPad and just about anything else as it's got so many adaptors. This device is awesome, thank you so much TechNet.

This battery is really handy: it's got ample storage and it can charge two devices at the same time. Build construction is pretty good: it doesn't feel "cheap" to the touch or anything. That said, there are two minor issues which are a bit annoying:
- If you use the included cable, in one side the connector gets really long, so the plug tends to be a bit strained if you put the battery in your pocket. It's much better if you use your gadget's own cables.
- You really need to carry this battery in a hard pouch rather than in the included soft pouch, as the on/off button is really sensitive. During a trip to Liverpool, the battery turned on by accident when I put it in my bag. When I needed the battery, it was almost empty due to the power used by the LEDs. I'm carrying it in a hard pouch for the Nintendo DS Lite and it works much better now.
Oh, and another tip: it's better to use an USB mains charger rather than a laptop to charge it. It is much faster and you don't have to keep the computer on.

This looked great to ordered for my Nokia N900. Arrived quickly and a nice small well-made item. Expectations were high. Charged it up so 3 LED bars were showing on the Tecknet and plugged it into the N900 and....nothing. Tried my original Nokia cable too, but still nothing - no charge at all to the Nokia, didn't even recognise it as being plugged in.
So contacted Tecknet who responded quickly and asked me to send it back. Before I did I had one more go, turned on, plugged into my N900 and.... started charging! Don't know what happened before? Does seem to work reliably if power turned on the Tecknet before plugging it into the N900 - and of course use the 1A outlet.
So pleased with this and with Tecknet response so upped to 4* - only reason not 5 was my initial problems.

This is a fantastic invention for any person travelling alone and fearing that their mobile phone battery is going to die before reaching their destination. Can be easily put in handbag or pocket, just plug it into your phone and it charges it.
A great safety product. Thank you
