Great little device, been meaning to get one for years but always found them too expensive. Powered by either your iphone/ipod, but also comes with a charger for when you can't afford to be too generous in the battery department. Solidly built, easy to read screen, perfect for what you need it for really. Recommended.

The transmitter is good at what does but for what it costs, you can't expect crisp & refine sound as there are clearly streams for frequency interference & unwanted noises. At the very least, it does charge the phone as well.

I bought this as a present for my wife. It was well reviewed on Amazon. It arrived very quickly and seemed to be a good price. It works realy well and my wife is very pleased with it.

This is very good for the price. Does exactly what it says. Sometimes there is interference but usually it's perfect.

For the price it's a really good buy. Easy to set up with little fuss. Would recommend this to anyone, don't know if its better or worse than any other transmitter as this is my first one, but it does me just fine! Only one slight negative is that i've had to tune it in 2-3 again as it lost its signal from the radio and started to crackle but that took all of 30 seconds so not too much of a dilemma!

I bought this FM transmitter after a fairly long search on the web, as an alternative option to having an iPod adapter fitted to my mkV Golf. Its a fantastic little bit of kit - crystal clear sound through the stereo, no buzzing noises between tracks, and has a distance of 33ft apparently although 1ft is enough for me! I love it and would highly recommend it to anyone who finds an the ipod adapter costing £100 too costly. It works brilliantly with my nanopod 5th gen. I'm a very happy bunny!

I have used the device in the UK and found it to work really well. However, when I tried it in the Costa Blanca, Spain in a hire car, I found it to be ineffective. This could be due to the transmitter not being powerful enough to drown out the multitude of stations (I could not find any frequencies with no other stations transmitting) or the placement of the car aerial (?)

Great little device, the sound quality's not to bad at all 99% of the time the odd bit of interference now and again mainly when passing old lorries!
Finding a radio frequency that is free can be problematic when on a cross country drive but not too much of a problem, after a few journeys you do find the free space.
My only slight bugbear is that when on a long drive I like to have the traffic alert switched on, but when this gets switched on the radio in the car automatically starts to search for a stronger signal.

I didn't really expect much from this little gadget. I've heard these transmitters are a bit hit and miss, so I didn't want to spend too much to try it out for myself. Well, what a wonderful surprise to learn that it works so beautifully!
To programme this, all you have to do is find a 'static' radio frequency (i.e. one that's not being used), tune the transmitter in to the same frequency, and you're all set! Admittedly, it took a few re-tunes to get a good signal, but I've not had to change that, no matter where I drive. The sound quality is brilliant - you'll not hear much background noise at all, which really surprised me. The only time I get problems is when I use the adaptor lead to recharge and listen at the same time, the plug (to the cigarette lighter) is not very secure, and takes a bit of fiddling around to keep it in place. And while it is plugged in, you get quite a bit of background noise.
Of course, the way to avoid this is to keep your ipod charged up - the battery seems to last for quite a while, a good few hours play time.
If like me your car is not equipped to take an ipod, this is a great alternative - I would wholly recommend you invest your pennies!
